Ember Kilkenny

Welcome to Ember Kilkenny, the signature restaurant of the Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel. At Ember, dining is redefined through the primal allure of open-fire cooking, where every dish is kissed by flame and infused with unforgettable flavour. Picture a rustic, fire-lit ambiance where chefs transform ocean-fresh seafood and locally sourced Irish meats into smoky masterpieces. Inspired by the South African Braai grill, our menus celebrate seasonality, quality ingredients, and the magic of cooking entirely over open fire. Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner, a gathering with friends, or cocktails to start the night, Ember delivers a dining experience designed to stay with you. Head Chef Jonathan Webster leads the Ember kitchen with over 15 years of culinary expertise across some of the South East’s best-loved restaurants. Passionate about Irish ingredients, seasonality, and team spirit, Jonathan’s approach blends precision with creativity. His vision? To deliver dishes that connect with people, offering joy, comfort, and a touch of fire-lit theatre. Your Ember App – Features at a Glance Browse Menus – View our latest seasonal menus and wine lists.
