My Prayer Times - Companion

About My Prayer Times - Companion

TABLETS AND FOLDABLES From an unfolded foldable to a large tablet, screens no longer look like a stretched phone. Text, buttons and spacing grow together. Home in Classic and Glass has two panes on a wide screen: the countdown on one side and the prayer times on the other, with today's sun path underneath when there is room. In Suffa the panes use the full height. You choose how Home looks on a wide screen: two panes or one centred column, with the sun path card or without it. It is in Customize, Dashboard, under Home on wide screens. Tasbeeh: the counter sits in the centre and grows with the screen. On the largest screens the dhikr sequence sits beside it. Qibla: the compass grows with the screen. Falak lays its cards out in columns, the Quran reader has a centred reading column, and a whole page of Dalail ul Khairat fits the screen. Hayd Mode, Prayer Tracker, Prayer History, the Qaza and Zakaat calculators, In-flight prayer times, Social khatmah, Verify Prayer Times, Customize and the settings screens are sized for the larger screen. Screen titles and their buttons grow as well. On iPad, sheets open as a card in the centre instead of covering the whole screen. LOCATION When Update location cannot find where you are (location switched off, no signal), the app keeps the place it had and tells you the update did not go through. On iPhone it could move Home to Makkah. Qibla and Falak open on your saved place straight away instead of waiting for GPS. Falak and the Moon tab show their times on the clock of the place you chose, not your phone's. HIJRI DATE The Hijri date was checked against the Umm al-Qura calendar an iPhone shows, day by day for 2025 to 2028, and it matches. Your Hijri Date Adjustment now reaches every place a date is shown, including the day detail in the Monthly Timetable, the yearly PDF and the assistant in chat. The Monthly Timetable follows a change straight away. After Maghrib, the info sheet on Home and the previews in Hijri Date Adjustment show the new day, as the top of Home does. If the city you chose is in another timezone, the date follows that city's day, not your phone's. The month is spelled the same way on every screen. The home-screen widget moves to the new Hijri day when the app is opened after Maghrib. MOON The Moon tab opens quickly. It shows what it has worked out on your phone without waiting for an outside service, and it waits only a moment for GPS when it already knows your place. The Moon's age no longer shows as NaN. YOUR LANGUAGE The new Home options for wide screens, the Prayer Tracker switch and two high-latitude labels are translated in all ten languages. In Urdu, the clock on Home shows the time of day in Urdu, as the prayer times do. In every language the clock is written the same way as the prayer times. FIXES Timetable PDFs are saved with a proper name, such as prayer-timetable-London-2026-08.pdf. Prayer Settings: the note under Asr describes the school you selected. The Hayd Mode introduction no longer stays on top of the next screen you open. Classic Home returns to the top when you come back to it. Verify Prayer Times: the remove button no longer covers the method's name.
