What’s new
Version 1.18 · Updated October 4, 2026
Photo viewer When an object has several photos, swipe left or right to browse them, as in Photos. ‹ › buttons do the same. The details panel (date, place, camera settings) now describes the photo on screen, instead of always the cover photo. The "Info" and "Close" hints are now real buttons. Catalogues • New objects: NGC 6781, the Snowglobe Nebula in Aquila, and NGC 147, a satellite galaxy of Andromeda. • Caldwell corrected: M31 and M16, both Messier objects, are no longer listed, and the two missing objects are added. The catalogue covers exactly C1 to C109, and the "Caldwell complete" badge counts its numbers. • No photo is detached from its object. Fix • Search thumbnails could keep showing the old image after a cover photo was changed.
