Eternal Flame Lutheran Church

Eternal Flame Lutheran Church is a vibrant, Hmong-led congregation rooted in the St. Paul Area Synod and proudly affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Founded as a mission development, it has grown into a self-sustaining spiritual community that honors Hmong cultural heritage while embracing Lutheran theology. The church serves as a bridge between generations, clans, and immigrant families—uniting elders and youth in a shared journey of faith, healing, and growth. At its core, Eternal Flame is committed to fostering spiritual connection through culturally affirming worship, bilingual resources, and inclusive ministry. The congregation reflects the diversity and resilience of the Hmong people, many of whom have experienced displacement, migration, and cultural transformation. Through intentional leadership and community engagement, the church creates a space where traditional values and Christian teachings coexist and flourish. The Eternal Flame app extends this mission digitally, offering tools that keep members connected and informed. Users can access bilingual sermons, devotionals, and spiritual resources tailored to both English and Hmong speakers. The app supports group messaging, allowing ministry teams, small groups, and families to stay in touch and coordinate activities. It also enables easy registration for events, volunteer opportunities, and church programs—making participation accessible and streamlined. Community connection is central to Eternal Flame’s identity. The app delivers newsletters, email updates, and announcements that keep members engaged with church life. Whether it’s a youth retreat, elder gathering, worship service, or cultural celebration, the app ensures that no one is left out. It’s designed to strengthen relationships, promote intergenerational dialogue, and support spiritual development across all ages. Eternal Flame continues to grow as a model of faith-based cultural integration. The church emphasizes Lutheran values of grace, justice, and reconciliation, while honoring the unique traditions and stories of the Hmong community. It is a place where identity is not only preserved but transformed through the power of shared belief and collective purpose.
