Teacher Meter

Pick your classes with something better than rumor. Teacher Meter is a student-built guide to the teachers and classes at your school, written by the students who actually took them. No school account, no sign-in, nothing to connect. WHAT STUDENTS RATE • Difficulty, on a scale that means something • Hours of work per week • What grade they came out with • Tags like Tough Grader, Clear Grading Criteria, Rounds Grades, Extra Credit PLAN YOUR YEAR Compare classes side by side before you pick them. See which teachers are worth the early period and which classes are heavier than their name suggests. LEADERBOARD Hardest and easiest classes at your school, ranked from the ratings students have left. SOCIAL A chat for your school and one for each of your classes. You choose your own name and password. UC GPA CALCULATOR Work out your UC GPA with the real a-g rules: 10th and 11th grade only, pluses and minuses ignored, honors points capped at eight with at most four from 10th. TRY IT FIRST The gradebook screens are a worked example built from sample data, so you can see how the app works before entering anything. PRIVACY Ratings are anonymous. Social shows the name you pick and nothing else. This app does not connect to any school records system and does not ask for a school login. Teacher Meter is independent and student-run. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any school, school district, or maker of school software.
