in Search of

In Search Of is a new way to find what you need — by posting what you’re looking for instead of waiting to find the right listing. Whether you are searching for an item, a service, local help, a business, a new connection, a friend, a dating interest, a mentor, an event, or someone with a specific skill, In Search Of helps you put the request out there and connect with people who can help. Instead of scrolling through endless marketplace posts, create a request and let others know exactly what you are looking for. Post what you need: Create a request with details, photos, location, budget, Firm or Flexible pricing, and Minimum Condition. Discover local requests: Browse what people nearby are searching for and respond when you can help. Search people, not just posts: Find profiles by username, name, interests, location, business, profile title, or what they are open to. Message profiles directly: Start a conversation with a person or business from their profile, not just from a product post. Build your network: Follow people, accept or decline follow requests, view followers and following, and grow real local connections. Create a profile around your goals: Personal profiles can choose whether they are open to messages and select what they are open to, including friends, dating, networking, activities, events, mentorship, hobbies, fitness, volunteering, local help, and more. Business profiles are easy to contact: Businesses can be discovered by people searching for services, local help, products, or community connections. In Search Of flips the marketplace around. Instead of asking, “What is everyone selling?” Start asking, “What is everyone looking for?” Post a request. Search people. Message directly. Build real connections.
