Aim in silence. Strike with precision. Two shooting gears land on the battlefield. X-Gears is a high-speed robot arena battle with anime-style 3D graphics. Pin your rival down with your beam rifle, dodge with a step, and close in with melee. Slide up on an attack button to unleash your gear's own sub attack. Cancel your attack recovery to keep your offense flowing. Pick one of twelve gears, each with its own fighting style, and sortie against the AI or online 1v1. ◆ NEW! Two new shooting gears - Gun Veil Gear: a coated dual-pistol gunslinger (cost 2). Its 8-shot volley keeps firing through boost dashes and steps. Fire while cartwheeling or backflipping with Gun Flip, kick twice and backflip away shooting with the Kick & Handgun 3-Hit Combo, or plant your feet for the explosive Option Unit. Its special, Deadeye Shot, leaps upside down and splits its fire among every enemy in red lock. - Orion Gear: a sniper with a long rifle and gun bits on its back (cost 3). Plant your feet for a fast Sniper Rifle shot while deployed gun bits follow up from both sides. Ram the enemy with Gun Bit Strike, or trap a moving enemy in the Curtain Beam. Its special, Ultra-Fast Sniper Shot, blows the enemy away with one ultra-fast shot that scatters beyond it, and raises an all-around barrier. ◆ NEW! Choose your battlefield In AI battles, pick the battlefield on the battle prep screen: the rocky Wasteland, the Colony, a space-colony town of buildings and terraces, the flat open Moon, or Random. Online battles are fought in the Wasteland. ◆ A special attack for every gear Fill the special gauge and unleash your gear's finisher; it recharges after use. Crescent slashes, a five-strike Iai, a giant irradiation beam, a five-beam funnel line, Holy Beam, Grand Cross, Shishi Funjin, Kumogakure, Purge, the Giant Bomb Grenade Barrage, Deadeye Shot and Ultra-Fast Sniper Shot. ◆ Twelve gears, twelve fighting styles - Stan Gear: balanced shooting and melee, ready for any range. - Sword Stan Gear: a greatsword melee specialist. - Launcher Stan Gear: a high-power shooter whose planted beam knocks down in one hit. - Astra Gear: a shooting-leaning all-rounder with funnels (cost 3). - Seraphim Gear: agile flight and a lance for attacks from every angle (cost 3). - Diabolos Gear: a greatsword and gliding strikes to run the enemy down (cost 3). - Shishiou Gear: a samurai who pulls you in and cuts you down (cost 3). - Kagerou Gear: a ninja who confuses with afterimages. - Nova Gear: a heavy shooter that purges into an agile winged form (cost 3). - Ranger Gear: beams and bombs to support the team (cost 1). - Gun Veil Gear: a gunslinger who keeps firing on the move. - Orion Gear: a sniper with gun bits and a barrier (cost 3). - Random: a different gear every sortie. Slide up on the beam or saber button for each gear's sub shot or sub melee, and check every gear's moves anytime on the Gears screen in battle prep. ◆ Test your skills online - Random match: find an opponent automatically for a 1v1 battle. - Friend match: create a room and share the code to battle your friends. - Gear select: choose your favorite gear online too. - Record card: tracks your matches, win rate, wins, losses and draws. ◆ Thrilling action that flows - Guard: block attacks from the front and repel melee to strike back. - Boost dash: close the distance in an instant, even in midair. - Step: shake off homing shots and dodge attacks. - Cancel: cut your attack recovery with a boost dash. A step also cancels melee recovery. ◆ AI battles from 1v1 to 2v2 Four battle types: 1v1 / 1v2 / 2v1 / 2v2. Choose the gear for yourself, your ally and each enemy, and set each AI's difficulty to one of four levels. Take your best moves into the next battle.
