Sway: Dance Formation App

Turn your choreography ideas into a clear plan for the stage. Sway helps dancers, choreographers, and coaches plan formations, preview transitions, and keep every routine organized on iPhone and iPad. PLAN YOUR FORMATIONS Place dancers on a stage grid and build your routine formation by formation. Adjust positions and spacing so everyone knows where to go. SEE THE STAGE IN 3D Switch from the overhead plan to a 3D view. See how your formations look on stage and review spacing from another perspective. SET THE STAGE Bring props into your plan. Explore the production library for chairs, benches, risers, and more, then arrange the space around your performance. BRING YOUR MOVEMENT TO LIFE Start with a video of one dancer and create a 3D motion. Preview it in your Motion Library and use it on stage to see movement alongside your formations. TIME EVERY TRANSITION Set formation and transition durations, then play through the sequence. Follow how dancers move from one position to the next before rehearsal. BRING IN YOUR MUSIC Add audio to your routine and line up formations with the track. Keep your music and formation timeline together as you plan and rehearse. KEEP YOUR CUES CLOSE Add notes to formations so reminders stay with the moment they belong to. Keep the details of your choreography easy to revisit. SHARE THE WHOLE VISION Export your plan as a PDF or video, with 2D and 3D stage options. Give your team a clear reference for the next rehearsal. ORGANIZE THE WHOLE PERFORMANCE Group segments into projects, find recent routines, and keep your team's planning in one place. On iPhone, use My parts to find the segments you're in. PLAN ON IPAD. REVIEW ON IPHONE. Use the larger iPad workspace for stage planning and timeline editing. Keep your formations close on iPhone when it's time to rehearse. For dance teams, studios, cheer, color guard, and theater: bring the plan to your next rehearsal with Sway. Some team features require a paid subscription.
