Novu Staffing

NOVU STAFFING – WORK YOUR WAY IN HOSPITALITY Novu Staffing is a platform open to everyone in the hospitality community — servers, bartenders, culinary staff, event team members, and front-of-house professionals. Anyone can create an account, build a profile, verify their skills, and join a nationwide network of reputable hospitality venues offering flexible shift opportunities. Novu Staffing is not built for a single business or internal company use. It is designed for the general public and can be used by any hospitality professional seeking work and any verified venue looking to offer shifts. EMPOWERING HOSPITALITY PROFESSIONALS The Novu Staffing app helps users manage their workday independently and confidently. Once a user accepts a shift, the app provides tools to help them arrive on time, document their hours accurately, and maintain a clear personal history of their completed work. OPTIONAL SMART LOCATION TOOLS (USER-CONTROLLED) To help you document your work more accurately, Novu Staffing includes optional location-based tools that are only active during a shift and can be turned on or off in the app settings: ARRIVAL ASSIST (GEOFENCE REMINDER) When you are approaching the venue for a confirmed shift, the app can send a helpful notification reminding you that you’re at the right place and can now clock in. This reduces missed clock-ins and late manual entries. PERSONAL SHIFT ACTIVITY LOG While you are clocked in to a shift, the app can use location data to create a personal work log for that shift. This helps you: Confirm that you were on-site during the agreed shift hours Review your past shifts with clear timing information Support payment and performance discussions with accurate records This information is visible inside your account and is used to improve transparency and fairness for you as a worker. IMPORTANT PRIVACY NOTES Location features apply only to active shifts you’ve confirmed. Location use stops when you clock out or when your shift ends. You can choose whether to enable or disable these smart location tools in the app settings. You can still browse shifts and manage your profile even if you don’t enable continuous location use.
