About Waffle Browser

Waffle turns your iPad into a grid of live webpages — so everything you care about is on screen at once. Tabs make you choose. Waffle doesn't. Arrange multiple websites into a clean, customizable grid and keep your mail, news, dashboards, and video in view at the same time. No clutter. No app switching. Just a smarter workspace. HOW IT WORKS • Every cell in the grid is a full browser • Tap a cell to select it — the address bar, back, forward, and reload control that cell • Tap the address bar and it takes over the toolbar: the full address is selected and ready to replace, so you can type a URL or search right away • Resize your grid with a tap: add or remove rows and columns anytime BUILT FOR iPad • Designed for iPadOS with a clean, native interface • Bookmarks and presets sync across your devices with iCloud • Drag a bookmark from the sidebar onto any cell to open it there • Full hardware keyboard support with shortcuts for navigation and grid control • Works with Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight — open presets and bookmarks from anywhere • Hand off the page you're reading to your other devices GO DELUXE WITH SYRUP (one-time purchase — no subscription) • Larger grids, up to 4×4 (free version includes up to 2×2) • Rearrange cells on the fly — drag to reorder or tap two cells to swap • Pop out any cell into its own window • Fullscreen a single cell when it's time to focus • Save Preset waffles and restore entire layouts in one tap • Family Sharing included — one purchase covers your whole family PERFECT FOR • Students juggling research, notes, and lectures • Traders and analysts watching live data • Streamers tracking chat, feeds, and tools • Sports fans following every game at once • Anyone who wants a tidy, efficient iPad workspace Waffle is available in English, Spanish, French (Canada), and Japanese. Try Waffle free, and pour on the Syrup when you're ready. Browsing on iPad has never been this powerful.

What’s new

Version 1.4.0 · Updated October 2, 2026

Waffle 1.4 is a rebuild — the same app you know, on an entirely new foundation. A focused address bar. Tap the address bar and it takes over the toolbar: it stretches to the full width of the window, the other controls step aside, and the complete address is selected and ready to replace. Type a URL or a search, hit Go, and everything slides back into place. Pop-out windows get the same treatment. Rebuilt from the ground up. Every part of Waffle — the grid, the sidebar, bookmarks and presets, Syrup, settings — was rewritten on a cleaner, more modular architecture with far more of it under automated test. You won't see most of it, but you'll feel it: fewer surprises now, and a much faster path for new features next. Clearer when something goes wrong. If iCloud can't load or save a bookmark or preset, Waffle tells you plainly instead of failing quietly. Purchase and restore messages are now fully translated in Spanish, French (Canada), and Japanese. Love Waffle? A quick review really helps an indie app like this one.
