YardChatz

About YardChatz

YardChatz 4.0 is the biggest update yet. • Tall Grass: a new yard-scale collecting game. Find pieces around your real neighborhood, bring them home, and watch your yard come alive. Some pieces only show up when it actually rains. • Word Duel now works offline against a built-in dictionary. • New friends: everyone who joins is friends with Rick, the founder, and gets a welcome note that walks you through the app. When you make a new friend, Messages prompts you to say hi. • Reply privately: every post now has a lock button. Send the poster a comment only the two of you can see, in text or video. • A guided tour with short videos shows you around, and every tip can be read aloud with one tap. • Reels: a Full screen button for widescreen videos, and clips load faster. • Yardwork, our workout tracker, got a new look with athlete artwork for runs, rides, swims, surf, hikes, and more. • Friend requests appear right on the Friends screen, plus better "people you may know" that respects private accounts. • Find friends from your phone's contacts and link your phone number. • Calls ring properly on a locked phone, using the tone the caller picked. Pin a song as your ringtone, and pick it right from Connect. • Tilt the map into 3D, see friends' avatars where they are, and claim yards in YardChatz World. • Pick or shoot a profile background, and choose an avatar. • Safety: real blocking, age-appropriate accounts with guardian invites, and server-side moderation of photos and videos. • Many fixes, including videos posted from iPhone that wouldn't play, chats that wouldn't open on the first tap, and overlays that were cut off.
