About Tool Share: Build together
Tool Share: Build Together connects people who own tools with people who need them for home projects. Browse drills, saws, pressure washers, and more; compare rates; choose pickup or delivery; and request a rental. Owners can list tools, set pricing and deposits, manage availability, and earn from items they already own. In-app messaging keeps owners and renters coordinated. Identity verification, rental records, condition photos, inspections, dispute tools, ratings, and Stripe payment processing support safer exchanges. Tool Share is for adults 18 and older. Browse listings as a guest; an account is required to list, rent, message, verify identity, or manage payments.
What’s new
Version 1.2.10 · Updated October 20, 2026
Cancel a request after sending it, choose renter pickup or owner delivery with a simple switch, and follow each rental with a new progress tracker. Tools now show in two columns, distance between you and the other person appears on rental details and maps, managing your Stripe payout account is one tap from Payment Methods, and large tool lists and searches load faster.
