About Slumbertone: Sleep Sounds

Nine sounds. One timer. No noise you didn't ask for. Slumbertone is a quiet, ad-free sound machine for sleep, focus, and calm. Pick a sound, set a timer, put the phone down. FIVE CLASSIC NOISES — ALWAYS FREE • White — a steady, even hush • Pink — softer and warmer than white • Green — the midrange of the natural world • Brown — deep and rolling, like distant surf • Deep Brown — lower still, felt more than heard NATURE SOUNDS PACK — ONE-TIME UNLOCK • Birdsong — a bright morning canopy • Crackling Fire — slow embers in a quiet grate • Tibetan Singing Bowls — long bronze tones, fading • Wind Chimes — loose notes on a slow breeze Tap any locked sound to hear thirty seconds before you decide. One purchase, yours forever. No subscription, ever. A SLEEP TIMER THAT ACTUALLY SLEEPS Choose 15 minutes, 30, an hour, any custom duration, or a wake-up time. Slumbertone fades out gently when the time comes — or stops instantly, if that suits you better. BUILT FOR THE DARK Every sound is a two-minute studio loop that repeats with no click and no gap, so there is no seam to catch your ear at 3am. Switching sounds crossfades instead of cutting. The background breathes slowly in the color of whatever is playing, and the whole app is dark by design — nothing on screen is brighter than it needs to be. • Plays in the background and with the silent switch • Full lock screen, Control Center and Dynamic Island controls • iPhone and iPad layouts • Works offline once installed • No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no data collected Headphones or a bedside speaker recommended. Slumbertone is not a medical device.

What’s new

Version 2.0.1 · Updated August 27, 2026

Slumbertone 2.0 is the biggest update since launch. NINE SOUNDS, UP FROM FOUR Deep Brown Noise joins the free Classic pack — lower and rounder than Brown, rebuilt from scratch for this release. And a new Nature Sounds pack adds Birdsong, Crackling Fire, Tibetan Singing Bowls and Wind Chimes as a single one-time unlock. HEAR BEFORE YOU BUY Tap any locked sound and it plays for thirty seconds — the real sound, not a sample reel. Buy it and playback simply continues. A REAL PICKER The three-row wheel is gone. Sounds now sit in a two-column grid with the pack you are browsing on a tab above it, so every sound is one tap away. EVERY SOUND RE-LEVELED The whole library was measured to broadcast loudness standard and matched, so switching sounds no longer means reaching for the volume. Several sounds were rebuilt to remove inaudible sub-bass that was eating headroom without ever reaching your ears. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE • Switching sounds now crossfades instead of cutting • The breathing background is far more visible, and each sound has its own palette • Lock screen artwork • Contact Us and Our Apps, from the new footer • Reclaimed the empty space below the timer card • Dark mode only — the light theme is gone Sleep well.
