About DayStart AI: Morning Briefing
Your morning, produced. Today's Top Story first, then your calendar, the weather where you're headed, and a live commute time, woven into one five-minute show. Listen while you get ready, or tap Watch and follow along in cards. DayStart is not a robotic readout. Every briefing leads with the day's single Top Story, and when it turns on something someone said, the quote stays in their own words, attributed to who said it. Then it gets personal. Your calendar for the day, the weather where you are (and where you're headed if you're traveling), and, if you turn it on, a live leave-by time for your first meeting. It's like having a producer who stayed up all night building your morning show, then a host who delivers it. NEW: WATCH MODE • Tap Watch on the player and your briefing becomes big, swipeable cards that move with the audio. • One card per story and section, built from the briefing's own transcript. • Share a news, sports or quote card as a picture. Your personal "Your day" cards stay private and can't be shared. WHY DAYSTART: • The Top Story first. Every briefing opens with the day's biggest story, with quotes in people's own words where they said them. • Built around your day. Calendar events, destination weather, and a live leave-by time for your first meeting. • A show, not a readout. AI voices, chapters you can tap through, a lock screen that names what's playing. • News from a mix of sources, not one feed's spin. • Free daily podcast. Want a general briefing instead of a personalized one? DayStart Daily is free every morning, no subscription required. WHAT'S INSIDE: • Top news, curated, not firehosed, led by the day's single biggest story • Local weather, plus destination weather when your calendar shows travel • In the US, a severe weather warning from the National Weather Service leads your weather when one covers your county. DayStart is not an emergency alert service. • Your calendar at a glance, with a live commute leave-by time if you turn it on • Markets and sports, if you pick them, including your hometown teams' latest results in many US cities • A lighter edition on weekends • Some mornings, a quick question with the answer at the close, and one thing to carry into your day • Voices at a more even volume DESIGNED FOR YOUR MORNING: • Plays in the background while you get ready • Works from the lock screen, no need to open the app • Prepared in the background so it's ready when you wake up • Tap through chapters, or share any briefing with a friend or colleague • Easier to read: dark text on buttons, text that follows your system text size, VoiceOver labels, and Reduce Motion support TRY IT FREE: The annual plan includes a 14-day free trial and the monthly plan includes 3 days, for new subscribers. The weekly plan has no trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. One show instead of a scroll through your news apps. Wake up. Get briefed. Succeed.
