The NIEA

NIEA connects community members with local organizations and businesses; making it possible to discover opportunities, contribute real work, and build a verified record of what you've given to your community. DISCOVER YOUR OPPORTUNITIES Browse a live map of needs posted by local businesses and organizations. See which opportunities match your skills in marketing, operations, events, trades, tech, social media, and more. CONTRIBUTE AND GET VERIFIED Apply to help. Complete the work. When the organization verifies your contribution, it's recorded permanently to your profile. Your record grows with every verified contribution; a real portfolio of community impact, not just a list of intentions. EARN ENVALUMENTAL COINS Verified contributions earn Envalumental Coins (EC); a recognition unit that tracks the value of your community work. EC are a non-monetary record of contribution, not a financial instrument. All USD payments between contributors and organizations happen directly between the parties; NIEA records and recognizes the work, it does not hold or transfer funds. PEER CONTRIBUTION NETWORKS Join or form a Peer Contribution Network; a community of contributors supporting a local organization together. Networks let businesses build a trusted bench of people they know and can count on. YOUR CAPABILITY KEY Upload skills, credentials, and knowledge to build your Capability Key; a profile that helps organizations understand what you can do before you ever have to explain it.
