It is off by default. Enabling it requires accepting a closed-course use acknowledgment, and you confirm your venue before each session. With Track Mode enabled: • GPS and motion-sensor timing — 0–60 mph, 0–100 km/h, quarter mile, braking distance, standing and rolling starts • Dyno-style horsepower and torque estimation computed from sensor data, so you can check what a remap, intake or exhaust actually changed • Distance splits, plus speed and G traces for every run • Automatic run analysis that reports whether a measurement was clean — for example, flagging a lift or brake application that makes a time unrepresentative of the vehicle IMPORTANT — SAFE USE Track Mode is designed for closed courses, racetracks, drag strips and private property only. You must accept the safe-use acknowledgment before any timing feature becomes available, and confirm your venue before each session. Never use performance features on public roads. Never attempt a measurement in traffic. Always obey all traffic laws and drive responsibly. BUILT LIKE AN INSTRUMENT Mount the phone, run a pass, read the results afterwards — no interaction is needed while the vehicle is moving. Accuracy depends on GPS conditions and a correct vehicle weight; for best results use a windshield or vent mount and a flat, straight surface at a sanctioned venue.
