Banjo Mountain

Step-by-step banjo lessons, a practice tracker that keeps your streak alive, and the tools you need to practice well: tuner, metronome, tabs and Song Review. Learn bluegrass, clawhammer or both, from your very first note to confident player. Banjo Mountain gives you everything in one place: well-crafted video courses, the tools for great practice sessions, and a community of banjo players who cheer you on. A CLEAR PATH UP THE MOUNTAIN No guesswork. Every step is laid out for you, from zero musical experience to confident 5-string banjo player. Your level and your next lesson are always on your Home screen, so you always know what's next. LEARN BLUEGRASS, CLAWHAMMER OR BOTH Video courses take you from beginner to advanced in either style: three-finger bluegrass picking (rolls, licks and songs) and old-time clawhammer. Pick one, or learn both side by side. Every lesson comes with printable tablature, and your progress is saved lesson by lesson. KEEP YOUR PRACTICE CONSISTENT Most players stall when life gets busy. Daily streaks, a daily goal, a weekly practice challenge and milestone celebrations keep you coming back, so you climb from one peak to the next. YOUR STREAK ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Add the Banjo Mountain widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen and see your streak, today's practice and this week's total at a glance. Start a timed session from the widget, with Siri ("Start banjo practice in Banjo Mountain"), or from the app, and watch the live timer in the Dynamic Island. WATCH YOUR PRACTICE GROW A built-in practice timer logs every session. See your minutes add up by week, month and year, and keep your chain of practice days going. MEMORIZE SONGS WITH EASE Song Review tells you which songs to play today and brings each one back on a proven spaced-repetition schedule (the Leitner method), so tunes stick for good. THE BANJO TOOLS YOU NEED A banjo tuner (Open G, Double C and G Modal), a metronome, chord and tab references, plus focus areas and practice notes, right where you practice. PRACTICE LIVE EVERY DAY It's hard to make yourself practice. It's easy when others are playing too. Members join the Daily Practice Room every morning at 9am Pacific: say hello, mute, and practice alongside banjo players from around the world. YOU'RE NOT LEARNING ALONE Learning online can feel lonely, and many people quit. Inside the Banjo Mountain community, players share wins, ask questions and support one another, so you look forward to every practice. Start your climb today.
