UVUV

UVUV helps kids and families stay sun-smart, with Soli, a little clay buddy who lives in your phone. TODAY'S SUN, AT A GLANCE See today's date, the weather, the high and low, and the UV index right now. Soli changes outfits with the UV: a wave on low days, sunscreen at UV 3, shades at UV 6, an umbrella at UV 8, and indoor story time when the UV is extreme. The hourly strip shows when the sun peaks and when it's safe to play. SOLI'S CLOSET Dress Soli in 50+ pieces: hats, tops, layers, shoes and sunglasses. Let Soli dress for today's weather and UV (a wide sun hat and rash guard on bright days, a raincoat in the rain, a coat and scarf in the cold), or pick your own style. Soli wears your outfit on the Today screen, your widgets and your Apple Watch, and you can show off your Soli with friends. Everyday clothes are free. Extra packs (Beach, Rainy day, Winter, Street, Builder, Helpers, Makers, Sleepover and a limited Holiday pack) are one-time purchases behind a grown-up check, sold by the app's publisher, 515, LLC, which passes the money to UVUV, Inc. PAJAMAS AT BEDTIME After sunset (from 8 PM) Soli changes into pajamas, a nightcap and a sleepy buddy until sunrise. Pick Soli's bedtime look in the closet. NEVER FORGET TO REAPPLY Tap "I put it on" and Soli starts a reapply timer for what you're doing: chilling, sporty or swimming. A gentle reminder arrives when it's time for a fresh layer. SOLI ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Add the Soli widget and it becomes a tiny weather forecast. Through the day Soli waves hello, sips milk, naps on a towel and sleeps at night, and stops to tell you when the sun needs attention. Small, medium, large and Lock Screen sizes. ON IPAD AND IPHONE DUO UVUV fits big screens too, from iPad to both displays of iPhone Duo. ON YOUR WRIST The Apple Watch app shows Soli in your outfit, the UV, the weather and your reapply timer, with an "I put it on" button right on your wrist. SUN SMARTS IN 30 SECONDS Bite-size quizzes bust sun myths (yes, you can burn on cloudy days), explain SPF and help kids dress Soli for the sun. Earn stickers and keep a streak. MADE BY A NONPROFIT UVUV is made by a student-led nonprofit. It's free, with no ads, no tracking and no sign-up. Your location is only used to look up the weather, rounded to about 1 km, and is never stored. Weather and UV data by Apple Weather, with Open-Meteo.com as a backup.
