Every sweater, shawl, poncho and blanket is made by hand, and every order funds free job training and fair-trade work for single mothers, differently-abled artisans and marginalized communities. Free training programs have since given more than 180 people a craft and a fair wage, among them single mothers, artisans who are deaf or hard of hearing, members of the third gender community and people with disabilities.
