SafetyTymr

Stay safe with SafetyTymr Whether you're walking home alone, meeting someone new, heading out for a solo hike, or inviting someone into your home for a repair — SafetyTymr gives you peace of mind. Just set a timer before your activity, and if you don’t check in before time’s up, your selected trusted contact will be alerted. Why people use SafetyTymr It started with a simple message: “Hey, I’m going on a date. If you don’t hear from me in two hours, call the cops!” That kind of plan relies on someone remembering — and keeping track of the time. Not always reliable. SafetyTymr is different. It automates the check-in process so you stay safe without overwhelming the people who care about you. Set as many timers as you like — even multiple times a day — and your contact will only be alerted if you don’t check in. How it works • Start a tymr before your activity • Choose a contact you trust • Get a reminder before your timer expires allowing you to check-in or extend • If you don’t check in on time, your contact gets an SMS alert Common use cases • Walking or commuting alone • Meeting someone for the first time • Exploring the outdoors solo • Traveling in unfamiliar places • Doing gig work (like TaskRabbit or delivery) where you're entering someone’s home • Having service providers come to your home (e.g., cleaners, electricians, or handypeople) Simple by design No complicated setup or constant tracking. Just set a timer when you need it, and get on with your day. SafetyTymr runs quietly in the background and only alerts someone if you don’t check in. Respecting your privacy We don’t track your location unless you explicitly allow it — and we never send marketing texts. Your data stays private and secure, always.
