BookCompanion

About BookCompanion

Version 3.4.0 • Designed for iPhone Duo and iPad: where there's room, the Library, Characters and Locations now show the list alongside the item you've chosen, so you can browse without going back and forth. • Scenes: on larger screens, the scene's part, chapter and title appear in a panel beside the picture. • Word search and jigsaw adapt to your screen: the word search sits beside its grid on wide screens, and the jigsaw re-arranges itself to fill the space if you rotate, unfold or fold your device mid-puzzle. • Nearby location alerts: tap an alert to go straight to that location's page. Alerts now also appear while you're using the app. If alerts are switched on, the app will ask for "Always" location access so it can keep your nearest sites up to date as you travel. Your location never leaves your device. • Mini-game fixes: every word search can now be completed, starting a new jigsaw asks before replacing one you've paused, and the Tudor Detective bonus game stops properly if you swipe it away. • Your preferences are now kept safely when the app is updated, plus various other small fixes and improvements.
