About Snap to Learn - Vocab by Photo

My daughter failed her vocabulary test. Not because she didn't study — she'd write each word a couple of times, glance at it, and call it done. The test told a different story. Flashcard apps were too slow to set up, and none of them encouraged actual writing. So I built Snap to Learn. She took one photo of her vocab list — every word pair extracted instantly — and started practicing by handwriting each translation. Two weeks later, she aced her next test. A month in, she was opening the app on her own — no nagging required. This isn't another flashcard app. This is the method that actually works. SCAN ANY VOCAB LIST IN SECONDS Snap a photo of your textbook, worksheet, or handwritten notes. Word pairs are detected automatically — no typing, no manual entry. One photo = an entire practice session ready to go. HANDWRITE TO ACTUALLY REMEMBER Research shows students who write by hand score better recall tests. Write your answers with a finger or stylus on a full-screen canvas. Keyboard is always available too — but your brain will thank you for writing. SMART PRACTICE THAT PROVES YOU KNOW IT Words aren't "learned" until you get them right 7 times in a row. Make a mistake? The streak resets. No shortcuts, no illusions — just real mastery. Practice flows in small batches so you stay focused, not overwhelmed. FILL IN THE BLANKS — USE YOUR WORDS IN A REAL STORY Pick a few words from any deck and get a short, original story written around them in seconds — a fresh text every time, built from your words. Then you fill them back in — by hand or keyboard — right inside the text. Choose your difficulty, peek at a definition, or reveal a letter at a time when you're stuck. It's the leap from memorizing words to actually using them. LEARNING ENGLISH? MASTER THE IRREGULAR VERBS go, went, gone — irregular verbs don't follow the rules, and there are hundreds of them. Switch on verb forms and practice asks you for all three forms instead of just the translation, whether you're on a single word, a session or a test. Drill only the irregular verbs or every verb you've saved — your choice. Then the Tenses exercise puts them to work: pick the tenses that trip you up — present perfect, past progressive, ten in all — and write verbs into real sentences, with your score broken down tense by tense. TEST YOURSELF WHEN YOU'RE READY Switch to Test Mode for a no-hints, no-feedback challenge. Get a clear breakdown of what you've mastered and what needs more work — perfect before exams. HEAR EVERY WORD PRONOUNCED Tap any word to hear native pronunciation. Never wonder "how do I say this?" again. WATCH YOURSELF IMPROVE Track streaks, accuracy, and words mastered. See your progress grow session by session — the kind of momentum that keeps you coming back. 50+ LANGUAGES, ANY DIRECTION German to English, Spanish to French, Japanese to Portuguese — set up any language pair and switch anytime. All your vocab stays organized. SHARE DECKS WITH CLASSMATES Created a great word set? Share it with a link. Friends can import your deck and start practicing instantly.
