This update turns Gene Search into a complete qPCR assay design tool: • qRT-PCR primer design — generate optimized primer pairs for any mRNA directly on your device, with expected product size, Tm, and GC content for each pair • Exon-junction detection — pairs that span exon–exon junctions are flagged and prioritized, so your assays are cDNA-specific • One-tap verification — open any designed pair in NCBI Primer-BLAST with everything prefilled • CSV export — share complete primer, siRNA, and sgRNA result sets ready for oligo ordering • Rat support — search rat genes alongside human and mouse • Faster everywhere — smart caching makes revisiting genes nearly instant
