About Veridonia

A European news feed, decided in the open. A feed run by people, not an algorithm. Made in Europe. No ads, no tracking. Readable without an account. Most feeds are ranked to keep you scrolling. Veridonia isn't ranked at all. Members of each community vote on which posts get in, and you read them newest first. Nothing is boosted for outrage, and nobody pays for a place in your feed. Every decision is on the record. You can see who voted on a post, how, and why anyone said no. If your own post is removed, you're told why and can appeal. You get a say too. Once you've joined, you may be drawn at random to decide whether a post belongs. Turn on notifications so the draw can reach you. Start with Europe: news from across the continent, in English. Read straight away; to post, vote or comment, sign in or continue anonymously, with no email needed. How it works: veridonia.com/how-it-works

What’s new

Version 1.0.8 · Updated October 26, 2026

Read whole comments A comment now shows in full up to 1,000 characters. Longer ones show about 700 before Show more, so you rarely have to open one to finish a thought. Fewer, better comparisons You're asked which comment should be seen by more people only where there are enough to choose from, and less often. Comments no longer show a score beside them; answering thanks you instead. Communities explain themselves Tap members, weekly visitors or who can be asked to decide to see what each figure means. A community's page shows who posted each post and who opened each decision. Post a link from anywhere A link to a new post opens it in the app with the link, title and subtitle filled in, and the community chosen; you can still pick another. A link's preview now arrives even if you switched apps while it was loading. Also: a notification you read anywhere is read everywhere, you can attach screenshots to a bug report, and decisions say plainly why a rating did or didn't move.
