BBQ Chef

BBQ Chef is your AI-powered pitmaster assistant. Tell it what you're working with — your smoker, your skill level, your favourite woods — and it generates recipes built around you. Not generic internet recipes with a stock photo. Recipes that know you've got a Weber Smokey Mountain and prefer post oak. GENERATE RECIPES YOUR WAY Chat naturally with the AI to create exactly what you're after, or browse by category and let it surprise you. Choose from beef, pork, poultry, lamb, game, seafood, veggie, dry rubs, marinades, glazes, sauces, and sides. Every recipe includes step-by-step instructions, cooking temps, equipment lists, and setup guides — in both imperial and metric measurements. BRING YOUR OWN RECIPES Got a stack of cookbooks, printouts, or scribbled family recipes? Snap a photo and BBQ Chef reads the page and turns it into a clean, structured recipe card — ingredients, steps, temps and all. Or paste your rough notes and we'll sort them out. Flip on "Adapt to my setup" and the app translates the method to your smoker or grill. Prefer to do it by hand? Build recipes from scratch on a live card that looks exactly like the finished thing. PERSONALISED TO YOUR SETUP Set up your pitmaster profile once — your smoker or grill, preferred woods, accessories, experience level, serving size, and any dietary notes. The AI uses all of this to generate recipes that actually make sense for how you cook. A beginner on a kettle grill gets different guidance than a competition pitmaster running an offset. THE PIT — A COMMUNITY FOR PITMASTERS Share your best recipes with The Pit, a built-in community of BBQ enthusiasts. Browse what others are cooking, vote on the ones that catch your eye, and leave comments. Search by keyword or filter by category. Found a recipe you love? Remix it — the AI will regenerate it to match your own equipment and preferences. SAVE, SYNC & EXPORT Save recipes to your collection and access them anywhere. Everything works offline — recipes are stored on your device and sync to the cloud when you sign in. Export any recipe as a clean PDF to share with friends or print for the cook.
