The Tiger Tennis Academy

Tiger Tennis Academy is “Where beginner’s play”! Our tennis program focuses on children just starting their journey into the world of tennis. Beginners at Tiger Tennis Academy show quick results! After just 4 or 5 group lessons, children as young as 5 years old begin to make contact with the ball and return the ball back to a coach. The thrill in their eyes is truly amazing! Our instruction is based on fun and educational training programs and standards developed by the United States Tennis Association. We begin by teaching proper technique on both the forehand and the backhand. Solid fundamentals are key in the early development of a tennis player. We structure our classes so ALL KIDS get to participate – and no one is left out! Unlike many other tennis programs that have older instructors, our team includes primarily younger coaches with significant playing experience and knowledge. Our instructors’ ability to inspire and relate to young children is a key advantage at Tiger Tennis Academy. We have found that younger instructors make a more natural connection with kids – helping them feel comfortable learning and socializing. At Tiger Tennis Academy, we offer tennis classes year-round, both indoors and outdoors. Each season lasts between 7 to 11 weeks, and we have 5 seasons per year. Our seasons are divided into the following schedule: Winter (indoor), Spring (outdoor), Summer (outdoor), Fall (outdoor) Fall/Winter (indoor). This year-round schedule provides students with continuity in their learning while giving them the opportunity to meet new classmates and continue building relationships with old friends. Enrollments include one class per week at the same time/day/location. The age groups of 4-5 are 50 minute classes. Age groups 6-9 and 10-14 are 1 hour classes per week. Tiger Tennis Academy is a beginner’s program. Our objective is to introduce your child to the proper techniques and foundation that will ensure success for years to come.
