About Video to Photo Sequence

Video to Photo Sequence turns any video into a clean, high resolution frame-by-frame photo sequence. Isolate any motion into a single flat image: a tennis serve, a golf swing, a basketball jump shot, a gymnast's routine, a horse galloping, a figure skater's spin, or a silly family moment with your cat. Coaches, athletes, and creators use photo sequences to study motion, share technique, and make thumbnails that stand out. To use, select a video on your device, pinch and drag to set the crop, choose portrait or landscape, and set your trim points at the start and end of the action. Set up to 20 key frames to guarantee the exact moments you care about appear in the sequence — the playhead snaps to your keys, so every frame is exact. When you hit render, the app generates a grid of evenly spaced frames between your trim points, with your keyed frames locked in. Switch grid formats, resolution, and borders and rerender on the fly. Unhappy with the crop or trim? Tap back and reedit — no need to reimport. When you are happy, save your image. You can choose a 16:9 or 9:16 canvas sized for YouTube thumbnails and Shorts, Reels, or TikTok covers. What’s new

Version 2.0.1 · Updated October 19, 2026

We’ve redesigned the app with Liquid Glass, larger titles, glass buttons at the top and Photo Sequence options in tabs at the bottom. • On iPhone Duo, use either screen and turn the inner screen upright or sideways. Controls sit along the edge, and folding or unfolding keeps your place. • iPad layouts use the larger screen and support resizable windows, keeping buttons clear of window controls. • Change the whole app’s language in the new Settings page. We’ve revised the wording in all seven translations. • The app opens with a new animated logo. • Playback stops when you select Render. The Upgrade to Pro dialog stays centered, and the key frame removal button no longer flickers during playback.
