SpotIt-Alerts

SpotIt-Alerts — Your Neighborhood, Your Alerts. SpotIt-Alerts is a community-powered app that keeps you informed about what’s happening around you — wherever you are. Unlike apps tied to a fixed neighborhood, SpotIt-Alerts defines your “neighborhood” dynamically using a user-defined radius (up to 6 miles) around your current location, so alerts move with you. KEY FEATURES * Real-Time Alerts: View and receive alerts about local incidents, public safety updates, civic information, community activity, and local events as they happen. * Community-Powered Reporting: Users can submit alerts and vote on reports to help surface relevant, accurate, and appropriate information. * Customizable Feed & Preferences: Choose which alert categories and content levels you want to see. Filter alerts marked as Safe, Borderline, or Sensitive — in any combination — so your feed reflects your comfort level. * Dynamic Neighborhood: Your neighborhood adapts to your location, ensuring alerts are always relevant wherever you go. * Trusted Sources: Alerts come from both users and verified data providers to support a reliable and balanced information stream. * Public & Private Groups: Users can send and receive alerts publicly or within private groups WHY SPOTIT-ALERTS? * Stay informed without being tied to a single address or neighborhood. * Help the community by voting on alerts to improve quality and accuracy. * A clean, intuitive interface designed for fast reporting and browsing. * Control what you see with flexible content and preference settings.
