Solar Energy Forecast | Solev

Solev helps you by saving you money and lowering your carbon footprint whether you plan to set up a photovoltaic system (like balcony solar systems) or already have one installed. With Solev you can determine the power and energy on an hourly scale. You can also determine the yearly yield and the payback period to purchase the optimal photovoltaic system for your needs. THE PROBLEM WITH SOLAR ENERGY Solar energy depends on weather conditions and the position of the sun. This weather dependency directly affects the self-consumption of energy produced by photovoltaic (PV) systems. Currently, only 30% to 37% of the generated energy is used directly. The rest is fed into the grid and sold often at a much lower price than the buying price. In some regions there isn’t even any compensation for feeding energy into the grid. Battery systems can help to buffer energy but they’re often too expensive to be cost-effective. The most effective way to optimize the usage of the PV system is by strategically planning energy-demanding tasks. THE SOLUTION WITH SOLEV Solev helps you in planning and optimizing your photovoltaic system. By setting up a digital twin of your solar plant, you can easily calculate power and energy output, estimate your potential savings, and make informed decisions even before purchasing a PV system. HOW IT WORKS With Solev, you can track the best time to run energy-demanding tasks and optimize your energy consumption while reducing reliance on expensive grid electricity. Our mission is to help homeowners with solar systems to increase their self-consumption rate to save money and lower their carbon footprint. To determine the self-consumption rate, it is possible to measure the power of your solar system and the power at the interface to the grid. Additionally, Solev provides insights into the optimal tilt angle of your PV plant based on your location and system orientation. You’ll receive forecasts about the energy potential for the upcoming days, along with a detailed overview of past energy production. With these tools, anyone can plan their PV plant like a pro and maximize efficiency. Therefore Solev is the perfect choice for: - People who strive for an off-grid living - Owners of photovoltaic systems who would like to save money by planning their energy consumption - Homeowners who plan to install a photovoltaic system - Investors and credit institutes who would like to determine the potential of an investment in solar energy - You and and many others Currently Solev supports the following power measurement interface: - Home Assistant (to measure Shelly, or other sensors) - More to come soon Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://solev.solar/privacy/
