CH Controller

About CH Controller

Thank you for using CH Controller! This update adds support for the new CH Precision L1.5 line preamplifier and P1.5 phono preamplifier. Both models can now be configured and controlled through the CH Controller app. We also continue our integration of Wattson Audio products with a full support of the Madison AMPLIFIER! If present over the network, the Madison AMPLIFIER will now show up in the list of devices, alongside with the Madison PHONO and all other CH Precision devices. A firmware update of the device is required to be fully supported, and this update will be provided right into the app. Once up-to-date, you will have access to the settings of your Madison AMPLIFIER from the CH Controller app. With this firmware update, you will notice a significant change in the behavior of the front panel button. Take some time to read the Madison AMPLIFIER manual on our website to understand all changes brought by this firmware update. With the support of both brands, we've added the possibility to select a "brand-based theme" for the app. This setting is located in the Preferences and will changes the app icon, the logo displayed during the launch phase, the color of some actions and buttons, and the sort order of devices in the list. We've also worked on enhancing the navigation on a Media Server, especially to navigate back more quickly. In the settings of devices, all sliders have been redesigned, and to help solving some common connection issues, we've added new more explicit alert screens. Finally, some other fixes and enhancements have been made to stabilize the app. Please see the full list below. As always, don't forget that we are also updating the firmware of our devices and some changes in the CH Controller app are directly affected by these changes. Therefore, we recommend that you periodically check the CH Precision and Wattson Audio websites to download the latest firmware version for your devices. We really hope you enjoy controlling your entire system and listen to your favorite music with this new version of the CH Controller! If so, please take the time to rate the app or share a review on the App Store. Thanks to you!
