What’s new

Version 2.1.0 · Updated October 16, 2026

What's new in 2.1.0 • Register new assets from the field: scan a barcode, capture the details, and send it to your office for review. Your company turns this on; until then the option shows that no registration types are set up yet. • New and discarded tasks appear in your list right away, even offline, and the map redraws after every sync. • The map list and pins stay on screen while a refresh runs, and location cards keep their inventory items. • Locations no longer drop off the map after you release or discard a task. Reliability • The app no longer stays in offline mode after your connection comes back. • A slow server at launch no longer leaves you on the spinner: the app stops waiting after 15 seconds and carries on offline. • Brief network errors are retried automatically. • Opening the app offline keeps your profile, so your work is credited to you. • The sync status shows how many items are stuck after repeated failures. Forms • Long answer labels on Check steps wrap instead of being cut off. • Photo, File and Assign Tag steps show as complete as soon as you finish them. • "Not applicable" and "Unknown" on Verify steps save correctly and stay selected when you reopen a task. • Task descriptions in the Add Task list show as plain text. • Exception cards show their warning colour on iPhone.
