Xiaoting has learned two new tricks. The first is starting the conversation. Retelling practice used to wait for you to hold the talk button. Now, tap the voice orb and Xiaoting will open with a question, then keep the conversation moving through the episode. To help you get comfortable, every account includes three free minutes to try it out. The second is making your notes look better. Headings, bold text, and lists appear as you write, and their formatting stays with you when exporting to PDF or Word. Words hiding in definitions, examples, and chat bubbles are easier to catch too—select the text to look them up. A few bugs tried to join the renovation: YouTube occasionally ignored the controls, older videos forgot how to resume, Mac stretched PDFs into noodles, and AirPods briefly pretended they could not hear anything. The good news is that our programmers have shown them the door.
