Guitar Earo

Guess which guitar is playing. Real recordings, same hands, same amp, same room. Most guitarists chase tone by buying more gear. Guitar Earo is a more fun way to spend five minutes: guess which guitar is playing, flip A/B on real recordings, see if your ears agree with your eyes. Same player, same amp, same room. One thing changed. We asked 180 guitarists to tell a humbucker from a single coil. Six in ten got it wrong. Set neck against bolt-on. Two tones that could not be further apart, and still a coin toss for most players. Past a certain point, everybody is guessing. Open the app and take the 60 second test. No signup first. You hear two guitars back to back, pick which is which, and get a score that names what you missed. Then you play. Instant A/B. Real instruments. Same player, same amp, same riff. Listen for the bite in a single coil's attack, or the way a humbucker's low mids fill in. Five quizzes a day. Miss it, A/B it, come back tomorrow.
