About ArtCart

Digital art lessons • The lesson timer is now a minimum, not a cut-off. When the ten minutes end, students keep drawing until their teacher ends the lesson. • Restarting a lesson no longer removes anything. Students who already turned in their drawing keep it and stay on their classroom page; only students who missed the lesson are brought back in. • Teacher and student countdowns always match, whatever an iPad's clock says. • A drawing in progress survives a reload or a rejoin mid-lesson. • An empty page can no longer be submitted by accident. Sign in with Clever • Tapping ArtCart in the Clever portal now opens the app directly instead of Safari. Teachers • Hide or show the student countdown during a live lesson. • The live lesson row shows the time remaining. • Clearer Start, Stop and Restart actions, with an explanation of what each does. Craft Box and splotches • Googly eyes, washi tape and the other craft materials place correctly on the page. • Splotch rewards load reliably on school networks. • A splotch total set by a teacher is added on top of what the student earns. Also in this release • Games and Art History open as soon as a lesson has started. • Smoother drawing on the web with lower memory use. • General fixes and performance improvements.
