AES-Visualization

Explore the world of AES encryption – interactive and fully visualized! Dive into the mechanics of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and discover how data is securely encrypted. Our app provides full support for AES-128, AES-192, and AES-256, enabling both encryption and decryption. Features: - Detailed Visualization: Follow every single operation – from SubBytes and ShiftRows to MixColumns and AddRoundKey. - Key Expansion: Watch step-by-step how round keys are generated. - S-Box Generation: Understand the foundation of AES substitution boxes. - Encryption and Decryption Workflow: Analyze every step and round in detail. - Interactive Animations: Replay, pause, fast-forward, or rewind – you’re always in control. Whether you’re a student, developer, or researcher, this app is your ultimate tool for understanding, learning, and teaching the AES algorithm. Download now and experience encryption in action! Info: This app was developed as part of a bachelor's thesis at Aalen University. The implementation of AES is based on the specifications outlined in FIPS 197 (2023 version).
