Nittany Nannies

The Nittany Nannies app is a comprehensive platform designed to streamline nanny agency operations, connecting families, nannies, and agency staff. It enables efficient scheduling, communication, and management, fostering seamless connections between families and qualified caregivers. Core Features: 1. Family Dashboard Booking Requests: Families can submit job requests detailing specific requirements, times, dates, and locations. This feature may also include preferences for specific nannies or additional needs. Booking Management: A user-friendly interface where families can view upcoming, completed, or pending bookings, modify requests, and review past care sessions. Sitter Profiles: Families can view available sitters' profiles with a snapshot of their qualifications, certifications, ratings, and availability. Feedback & Reviews: After each booking, families can rate the sitter, provide feedback, and share comments that the agency can review. 2. Nanny (Sitter) Dashboard Job Listings: Nannies can view and accept available job requests, which display clear details on hours, pay, location, and any specific job requirements. Shift Reminders and Updates: The app sends reminders for upcoming shifts and updates on any last-minute changes. Cancellation Protocol: Easy access to notify the agency immediately if a cancellation is necessary, following your specific procedure (e.g., direct text followed by a Slack announcement to find backups). Availability Calendar: Sitters can manage their availability, marking open or blocked times for potential bookings. Profile Management: Sitters can update their qualifications, certifications, and personal bios, ensuring families see up-to-date information.
