Tour Us Travel

New city, no idea where to start? Tour Us Travel shows you what travelers and locals love nearby, and helps you meet the people who are there the same time as you. Visiting somewhere you've never been is exciting, but it's hard to know where to go, and traveling solo or in a small group can feel lonely. Tour Us puts real recommendations and real people in one place, so you can find a spot worth trying and someone to try it with. Locals exploring their own city are welcome too. KNOW WHERE TO GO • See spots near you that fit what you're into before you even sign up: three quick taps on food, things to do and how you like to meet people • A map of food and activity spots shared by people who've been there; move the map to explore anywhere • "Spots near you" puts recommendations from travelers like you first • Read what people say about a place, and connect with the person who shared it • Mark spots "Want to go" or "Been here" YOU'RE NOT TRAVELING ALONE • A live ticker shows what people around you are up to, like "Free for coffee this afternoon" • See who's in town right now, closest first, never their exact location • Join your city's chat, open to everyone nearby, and see what's on this week at a glance • Get a heads-up when someone starts a group near you • Not sure what to say? Get a suggested first message from spots and interests you share TURN IT INTO A PLAN • Follow people, and add your closest ones as close friends • "Want to join me?" Invite close friends nearby to a spot; the invite disappears after an hour • Text a spot invite to anyone in your contacts, even if they're not on Tour Us yet • Start a group chat right from any spot and invite people to try it together • Reactions, message editing, and Delivered / Read in chats • Public groups, private groups where you approve who joins, and invite-only groups for events PUT YOUR CITY ON THE MAP • Every spot is added by travelers and locals. Know a great one? Tap "Add a spot" and share it in seconds • Not ready for an account? Look around as a guest and add spots; they go on the map after a quick review • Invite friends with a link that takes them straight to the App Store SAFE AND IN YOUR CONTROL • Make your account private so only people you approve see your profile • Turn location sharing off at any time • Block and report from any profile • Delete your account and data from inside the app MORE • New messages show right on the Chats tab • The "Nearby now" home-screen widget shows live statuses and a mini map of spots around you • A travel style assessment for better matches, with a card you can share to Instagram • A Verified Explorer green check, and student-only chats for verified college students • Sign in with Apple, or with your email or username • Light and dark mode • Free, with no ads and no in-app purchases Tour Us Travel is for people 18 and older.
