Altar: Social Prayer App

When someone prays over you, out loud, by name, everything changes. Altar® is the social prayer app where prayer requests actually get prayed over. Post what you're carrying, and real people, including Altar's dedicated prayer team, pray over you with their real voice. Not a like. Not a "praying!" comment. An actual voice, actually praying. Altar is completely free. HOW IT WORKS Share a prayer request in seconds, big or small Receive voice prayers from friends, community, and our prayer team Pray over others: open the feed, pick a person, pray (voice notes up to 3 minutes) Create private groups for your family, small group, or church Track prayers and see how God answers over time WHY VOICE Hearing a real person say your name and pray into your actual situation hits different than text on a screen. That moment is why we built Altar. Whether you're carrying something heavy or want to be the answer to someone else's prayer, there's a place for you here.
