About Banyan Flashcards
Banyan Flashcards is an immersive language learning app focused on vocabulary, which makes consistency effortless. It's made for learners who want to learn smarter, not harder. Concretely, it allows you to make consistent progress towards fluency without having to commit fixed blocks of time towards lessons. Our mission is to make learning effortless. While other language learning apps demand your dedication, time and energy, every day, Banyan Flashcards helps you stay consistent, without you having to do anything differently. We believe that learning a language should fit effortlessly into your busy schedule by making use of a great language learning method: Language immersion. This app delivers bite-size learning directly to you, using your phone’s notification system. You can reply to Banyan’s learning notifications from your home screen, your lock screen, or from within any other app, and it only takes a second. The app uses your responses to flashcard notifications to learn which areas you need more practice with, and which you’ve already learned confidently. Over time, you will gain a wide and deep vocabulary in the language you’re learning, and it will feel effortless. You don't have to fit lessons into your already-busy life: The Banyan Flashcards app brings the learning to you. You can create flashcards by typing them into the app, or use our AI generation feature to automatically propose flashcards based on a description you provide. Banyan's flashcard system supports you to expand and retain vocabulary in a way that is both effective and convenient. The primary, core functionality of the app is free and unlimited, but we have a paid subscription which grants access to additional functionality, such as sentence feedback, backups and extra progress stats. We use the standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA), which you can find here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
