Filling in blanks or matching words isn't real language learning. Genuine language skills come from conversations, storytelling, reading, writing, and debating. Start by imitating, then express yourself freely, just like a child learns. ◆ Listening and speaking should come before reading and writing. Many people read quickly in their native language but struggle with English reading speed. That’s because, during native reading, your brain generates internal speech effortlessly, whereas English often requires translation to your native tongue first. This issue arises from insufficient practice in listening and speaking. To master a language, always begin with listening and speaking. ◆ If learning a language doesn't make you happy, you're definitely using the wrong method. Positive interactions boost dopamine levels, making communication naturally enjoyable. Language learning is fundamentally about communication and should bring joy. If it’s not fun, change your conversation topics or partner. Find topics you love, dive into exciting storylines, and enjoy the journey of language learning. ◆ Why SayWow avoids translation exercises: 1. Babies don’t translate when they first learn a language. 2. Translation slows your cognitive connections. 3. Translation naturally occurs once language proficiency is established. ◆ How SayWow helps you master English: 1. Listen first, imitate next, then express yourself freely—just as babies naturally learn. 2. Learn words through visual and auditory experiences, boosting your cognitive response. 3. Skip translation and tedious exercises. Focus solely on the real goals of language: self-expression, obtaining information, and effective communication. 4. Simulate real-life experiences through engaging storylines. Learn language naturally by exploring topics and conversations you truly enjoy. ---- ▲ Is SayWow free? Yes!
