Dank Weather

Dank Weather shows the weather where it is actually being measured: personal weather stations, airport METAR reports and flood gauges on the DankWeather network, updating live as each reading arrives. Nothing on screen is a forecast. Every number is a real reading from a real sensor, stamped with how long ago it landed. Pick a station and it is on your home screen in seconds: the temperature right now, what it feels like, today's high and low, and a chart of the last 24 hours. Swipe between your favourites. THREE WAYS TO LOOK AT IT • Cards: hero temperature, a labelled 24-hour chart, and a card for each thing the station measures. • Ledger: an instrument panel with one row per reading, a 24-hour trace and a monospaced caption. • Dial: one big instrument with a compass ring, wind pointer, arcs for rain and air quality, and the temperature in the middle. GO DEEPER ON ANY READING Tap a card for its page: Temperature, Humidity, Wind, Rain, Air Quality, Barometer, UV Index and Solar. Each has a chart with a labelled scale for the last day, week, month or year. Drag across it to read any bar. Then the numbers that matter: the peak gust and when it blew, the prevailing wind, rain this event, today and this year, the pressure trend over the last three hours, dew point comfort, UV protection advice, the day's solar energy. Share any page as a text summary with a link to the station. STAYS WITH YOU • Live Activity: follow a station on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. It updates with every reading, not on a schedule. • Widgets: small, medium and large home screen widgets plus Lock Screen widgets for temperature, feels like, humidity, wind, air quality and UV, with a data-age label that keeps counting between refreshes. • Apple Watch: the station on your wrist, with complications for temperature, humidity, wind, rain and air quality. • Stale alerts: a notification when a station you care about stops reporting. AIR QUALITY YOU CAN TRUST The AQI is computed from the sensor's own PM2.5 concentration using the EPA's 2024 breakpoints, the same table the DankWeather website uses, so the number here is the number there.
