About RecStore

RecStore is the receipt app for the self-employed. Snap a receipt at the register in a couple of seconds, and it is already sorted by the time you file. SNAP IT AT THE REGISTER • The scanner finds the edges of the receipt and straightens it for you. • Receipts save on your phone first and upload in the background, even with no signal. • Press and hold the app icon to go straight to the scanner. SCAN NOW, CHECK LATER • RecStore reads the store, date, total, tax and tip from the photo. • New scans wait in Review with a suggested category. Confirm each one in a tap when you have a minute. EVERY RECEIPT ON THE RIGHT LINE • Categories follow the lines of Schedule C, plus Schedule A for medical, charity and taxes. • Meals are counted at 50%. Add the business purpose and who attended, the way the IRS asks. • Set a business-use percentage for anything you also use personally. • Keep the payment card and line items with the photo. YOUR DEDUCTIONS, ALL YEAR • Home shows your Schedule C total for the year and how it compares with last year, month by month. LOG BUSINESS MILES • Record each trip with its date, destination and purpose. • Every trip is valued at the IRS standard mileage rate for its date. ONE PDF FOR YOUR ACCOUNTANT • The tax package has totals by Schedule C line, a ledger of every receipt, your mileage log, every receipt photo and a year-end checklist. • Export a CSV for your spreadsheet or tax software. PLANS • Free: up to 25 confirmed receipts and a year-end summary PDF. • Unlimited: unlimited receipts, the full tax package with photos, and the CSV export. RecStore helps you keep records. It is not tax advice; check with your tax professional about what you can deduct. Terms: https://www.rec-store.com/terms.html Privacy: https://www.rec-store.com/privacy_policy.html

What’s new

Version 1.0.3001 · Updated October 21, 2026

- Merged PR 392: Offer Sign in with Apple on Android - Require approval before the mobile pipeline submits a build to the App Store. - Keep typed values only for the receipt being read, and seed an empty Review cache with a new upload. - Fill the review form when reading finishes, keep the Review list in step with uploads, and retry failed reads. - Keep a user's edits safe from background receipt reading, and show an uploaded scan in Review right away. - Show a scanned receipt in Review immediately, and fill the store and total after the photo is saved. - Keep the delete-account sheet open so the countdown and a wrong-email message stay visible. - Store receipt photos in blob storage so a scan can upload from the read-only production site. - Build the production connection string from the server, database, user, and password variables. - Give the legal pages more room between sections and list items. - Match the legal pages to the app type scale so section titles stay quiet. - Publish the terms, privacy, and account deletion pages the site already links to. - Upload the site into the FTP folder that already contains the live pages. - Upload the site into the domain folder SiteGround actually serves. - Upload the marketing site into SiteGround public_html and require the new homepage before the deploy is green. - Match the website deploy check to the escaped legal redirects in .htaccess. - Send verification codes through SendGrid so they come from [email protected] in the Renmen format. - Run the website deploy when the site changes on main. - Serve the marketing site on the web, and redirect the old legal filenames to the new routes. - Add Spanish and French, and light, dark, or system appearance, so the app follows the language and theme people choose. - Show failures inline and keep an offline notice to one banner so errors stop blocking the screen. - Allow the app to run in the browser by replacing native-only modules with web shims and serving a single-page bundle. - Link RecStore to its EAS project and Firebase Android app so push notifications can be delivered. - Request Sign in with Apple and push in the signed app, and store device tokens so notifications can be delivered later. - Use storesTestEmail/storesTestPassword for App Review - Keep App Review placeholders out of deliver uploads - Merged PR 359: Thermal redesign: fast capture, tax-ready reports, new store listing - Unblock App Store review for tracking and age rating. - Write App Store release notes where deliver expects metadata. - Update react-native-iap for Play Billing 8 product and purchase APIs.
