Type is a shared notebook for couples who run a home together. The shopping list, contracts, insurance policies, bills and dates — everything you both need to know, in one place instead of a chat thread, an inbox and one person's head. A SHOPPING LIST YOU BOTH SEE LIVE One of you ticks off tomatoes in the shop, the other sees it the same second and adds dish soap before you reach the till. You can both write in the same note at the same time. POLICY, CONTRACT, RECEIPT — WITH THE NOTE The insurance PDF, a photo of the receipt, a link to the sofa or a voice note recorded on the go. Everything sits next to the thing it is about, and every file in the notebook is also in one view. DATES YOU BOTH REMEMBER Car insurance, the end of your internet contract, the boiler service: set a reminder on the note and each of you gets it. FIND IT A YEAR LATER Type one word and Type searches every note. Mention the other person in a note or ask them to take a look — they get a notification about that exact thing. ON EVERY DEVICE iPhone, iPad, computer and browser. One account, the same notes. Your notes stay on your phone without internet, and changes sync when you are back online. YOUR NOTES ARE YOURS Only the people you invite to a notebook can see what is in it. No public profiles, no ads. The app collects no usage statistics, and we never read your notes. You can export everything to a ZIP in Settings and delete your account in the app's settings. PLANS FREE: 3 shared notebooks, 1 GB for files, unlimited notes, version history and trash from the last 7 days. PRO: unlimited shared notebooks, 20 GB for files, version history and trash from 90 days. Each person buys PRO for their own account. PRO is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or turn it off in your Apple ID account settings.
