Varta Keyboard

Introducing the Varta Keyboard (Vārtā Keyboard) - a versatile and intuitive multi-modal and multilingual keyboard. Built on phonemic principles, the Varta Keyboard is designed to ensure accurate and efficient text input through Slide and Voice typing in additional to regular tap input. Varta currently supports Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Sanskrit, Tamil and Telugu alongside an English keyboard as well. The Varta Keyboard does not include separate keys for vowel signs or modifiers in Indian languages. Most other keyboards will have separate keys for such vowel signs, which leads to typos or incorrect characters getting typed in those keyboards. With the Varta Keyboard, the appropriate modifier is automatically generated, when the user inputs the corresponding vowel after the consonant. This allows you to type in your language without mistakes.
