Companion App for Screenable

This is the Screenable *kid app* to put on kids' devices! Parents, if you're just getting started with Screenable, make sure to download the parent app instead (see instructions below). ▶ HOW TO GET STARTED: 1. Parents – download the parent app (it's called "Screenable: Better Screen Time") on your own device. 2. Set up a new kid profile. 3. During that process you'll install this app on their devices. (Currently we support kids’ iPhones & iPads.) ▶ A NOTE TO PARENTS Hey parents! Screenable is the healthy, easier alternative to Apple Screen Time (and other parental control apps). It’s the best way to onramp kids into healthy device use, from the moment they start using their own devices. Join us – it’s time for better screen time! ▶ A NOTE TO KIDS Hey kids! Screenable wants to be the better alternative to parental controls, that gives you more respect and prioritizes your growth than other apps out there. You’ll get to build trust with your parents, and by doing so get more privileges and responsibilities. Let us know how we could be doing better to support you! Send us an email to [email protected] or head to getscreenable.com/contact – thanks! ▶ WHAT WE BELIEVE At Screenable, we believe in building kids’ self-control, NOT emphasizing parental controls. When we make decisions for our kids, they’re not learning for themselves. Parental controls (like Apple’s) haven’t changed much in 30 years. They were built to block kids from spending too much time on their devices or from bad people/content online. They come from an old-school, “authoritarian” generation of parenting, where parents made decisions for their kids and expected obedience. ▶ WHY SCREENABLE? ◆◆ Customizable screen time management ◆◆ ◆◆ Collaborative & age-calibrated, growing with your family ◆◆ ◆◆ Research-backed to build healthy habits & strong relationships ◆◆ ◆◆ Built for modern parenting styles ◆◆ ◆◆ Easy, guided & reliable ◆◆ //// ▶ A FEW FYIs ◆ The Screenable kid app contains no advertisements. ◆ The Screenable kid app has no in-app purchases, social features, or inappropriate content. ◆ We are sensitive to your privacy (both parents and kids), and we only collect and retain data needed to provide the Screenable service.
