About MyNfcAttendance
MyNFCAttendanceApp leverages your device’s sensors—either the camera or NFC card reader—to read pre-registered student data. Utilising a secure external API, all data is safely stored in an external database, ensuring order and security. Role-based access control, adhering to the principle of least privilege, guarantees that data is accessible only to authorised users.
What’s new
Version 2.0.8 · Updated October 22, 2026
• Sharper, more reliable QR scanning: on iPhones with an ultra-wide camera, the scanner switches lenses automatically, so codes held close stay in focus. • The scan highlight now follows codes smoothly and disappears when no code is in view. • Scan sounds play instantly. • No more reminders for sessions you have already started; notifications about synced attendance clear automatically. • Faster saving, and attendance lists and exports stay up to date. • Messages are no longer hidden behind menus. • The keyboard no longer covers text fields in dialogs. • Settings: connect to a backup server if support asks you to.
