About NeuralStack.io™: Focus & Sleep

Shape your mindset with customizable Brainwave Entrainment Stacks. Listen in Binaural, Monaural, Isochronic, or combined Binaural + Isochronic Tone Modes. Headphones are optional when listening to Monaural or Isochronic tones. Start with 100+ included Explore Stacks, or create your own by combining any of 300+ Multi-Stage Brainwave Entrainment programs with Guided Breathing and background audio elements into an integrated Stack. NeuralStack.io is designed for people who want more than fixed audio tracks. Instead of locking you into pre-made sessions and pre-mixed tones, NeuralStack.io provides advanced tone modulation and flexible tools to create custom soundscapes, so you can shape your ideal mindset for any situation. Includes 300+ advanced brainwave entrainment programs for focus, relaxation, stress relief, memory, insomnia relief, sleep, meditation, anxiety relief, and much more. Create custom multi-stage brainwave entrainment programs for your Stacks: * Add or remove stages, fine-tune stage durations. * Specify any beat frequency from 0.5–100 Hz. * Specify fractional frequencies with 2-decimal precision. * Choose carrier frequencies from 100–1000 Hz with automatic power equalization. * Listen in 4 Tone Modes: Binaural, Monaural, Isochronic, or phase-synchronized Binaural + Isochronic modes. * Supports Schumann Resonance frequencies (ex 7.83 Hz). Listen alongside other audio/video apps: * Set your preference to allow other apps at the app-level or the stack-level. Listen Offline: * Audio resources are synchronized to the device instead of being streamed, eliminating network traffic, saving battery life, and allowing you to listen offline. Guided Breathing: * Remix the included breathing programs to match your pace. * Create custom multi-stage breathing programs with adjustable tempo, text, and visuals. * Supports fractional breathing patterns, such as Coherent 5.5 second cycles. Advanced Global Settings * Use the app's Global Settings to modify tone characteristics, such as cycles-per-pulse and gain to sharpen or soften isochronic and monaural modulation. Stack Playlists * Organize your Stacks into playlists to support your daily routine. * Create sequences of Stacks that use different Tone Modes. Ambience and Nature * Layer dynamic ambience and nature sounds. * Remix programs, combining them to create multi-stage ambient and nature programs, and reuse them across different Stacks. Solfeggio and Schumann Frequencies * Includes single and multi-stage entrainment programs utilizing Solfeggio carrier frequencies and Schumann resonant beat frequencies to be remixed and customized. Color Noise * Layer a color noise element into your stack for sound masking and tinnitus relief. Pure Sine Waves * Create pure sine waves from 100 to 1000 Hz with power equalization and 2-decimal precision. * Remix and combine programs to create multi-stage Solfeggio progressions. Custom Audio Programs * Integrate personal audio files into your Stacks. * Note: This feature is only intended for personal audio files, such as those recorded with voice recording apps, and cannot access copy-protected audio or audio from streaming services. What’s new

Version 1.0.8 · Updated August 24, 2026

This update includes improvements to the program creator for custom audio stack elements. NeuralStack.io is the only brainwave entrainment app that allows you to remix, combine, and create multi-stage programs and play them in Binaural, Monaural, Isochronic, or synchronized Binaural and Isochronic mode (headphones are optional with Monaural and Isochronic mode). With NeuralStack.io, brainwave entrainment programs can be combined with custom soundscapes and guided breathing to form complete, personalized Stacks. How the 4 methods of Brainwave Entrainment in NeuralStack.io work: Brainwave entrainment has been shown to be effective for improving focus, relaxation, meditation, and sleep in hundreds of studies. It’s used by individuals to manage stress and improve cognition, and in clinical settings to calm anxiety, improve memory, and to relieve insomnia. Brainwave entrainment relies on the brain’s Frequency Following Response (FFR), where the brain naturally aligns its electrical impulses (brainwaves) to match the rhythm of an external stimulus within a few minutes of listening. This app provides 4 types of audio brainwave entrainment. Binaural Beats: Binaural beats occur when two slightly different frequencies are presented separately to each ear using headphones or earbuds (one frequency to the left ear, a different frequency to the right ear), where the difference between the two frequencies matches the target brainwave frequency. For example, if a 200 Hz tone is played in your left ear and a 240 Hz tone in your right ear, your brain's directional hearing system perceives an inaudible rhythmic beat at 40 Hz—the difference between the two frequencies. Monaural Beats: Monaural beats are created when two frequencies are combined before reaching your ears, creating an audible rhythmic pulse, and the combined sound is played into both ears. Monaural beats do not require headphones and can be listened to over speakers. Unlike binaural beats, they are suitable for people who have hearing loss in one ear. Isochronic Beats: Isochronic tones are single tones that pulse on and off at regular intervals. For example, a 400 Hz tone would pulse 40 times per second to create a 40 Hz rhythm. Like monaural beats, they do not require headphones and can be listened to over a speaker. The regular on-off pattern creates sharp, well-defined pulses that are easy for the brain to track. The clarity of these pulses may make them more noticeable than subtle beat patterns. They are particularly effective for higher brainwave frequencies in the gamma range associated with focus and concentration. Because they are a sharp, distinct pulse they may not be as calming for relaxation and meditation as the smoother pulses of monaural beats. Monaural beats are more like hills, while isochronic beats are more like sharp peaks. Binaural + Isochronic Beats: When precisely phase-synchronized, binaural beats can be combined with isochronic tones to leverage both neural processing pathways. In this approach, binaural beats provide the subtle, centrally-processed frequency difference while isochronic pulses add a clear, rhythmic structure. This combination delivers frequency information through both the superior olivary complex (binaural processing) and the cochlear pathway (isochronic processing) and is more effective than binaural beats or isochronic beats alone, as it reinforces the perception of the binaural beats, which is helpful at higher frequencies where binaural perception begins to weaken.
