**New Features** - The POS now supports printing labels using a Zebra label printer. The ZD410 using 2.25x1.25 labels is the standard label printer for the system. - Flute payments are now supported for most business types. **Flute does not currently support Pre-auth Flow and is not recommended for locations that require pre-auth** - If a payment provider fails to initialize during startup, a new panel will give the operator some basic troubleshooting steps and options. - The windows bridge supports printer mapping between Windows printers and the POS, as well as supporting auto-auth functionality. Note that this is a windows-only option. **Changes** - The list of printers in the back office printer configuration page will filter out certain system printers, such as bump / kds displays. - Retail item search in the back office now supports searching department names with a single character instead of the prior three letter requirement. - The retail interface view now shows a column for item description. - Managers can no longer see configured employee PINs in the back office. - Payment provider surcharges are now listed on the receipt below the list of items around the subtotal and taxes area to more cleanly denote the charges. Previously, any surcharges were simply the list receipt items listed. - There have been changes to service type selection: - If you have a single service type, you will not be able to bring up the service type selection box. - If you have multiple service types, when you bring up the service type selection, the default service type will have a star on it so you know which one is default (if any). You will also be able to click "OK" to return to the order without changing anything. **Bug Fixes** - When using the printer discovery to update a printer's IP address, the printer name was being replaced with the printer's IP address. This behavior is expected with new printers, but existing printers should have retained their configured name. This has been corrected. - In the menu items sub page, drop down / type ahead fields would sometimes not dismiss properly when an item in the list was selected. This has been corrected. - An issue was corrected on iOS that prevented EBT configuration from being completed. - A few field names were not properly localized into other languages. That has been corrected. - Customers using the "Close Date" print receipt option from the 8.5.x11 universal receipt would only see the "Close Date" field printed on the receipt when a closed receipt was reprinted; They would not see the field when printing an open ticket, and they would not see the field if a receipt was closed and the "On Close" print rule trigger was utilized. This has been corrected. - **Note that open orders will print the "Close Date" with no value on a receipt because the order has not been closed.**
