Evaluating cherished items are overwhelming -endless hours of research, costly appraisals, or navigating public forums filled with conflicting opinions. Use Refindz to showcase your cherished items to the collector community anonymously. Gather descriptions and valuations independently and choose who to connect with privately. On the other hand, collecting is no piece of cake, competing with other knowledge custodians, dealing with time limits and costly auction premiums. Wouldn't you be interested in using your expertise as leverage for a potential purchase? Chances are you haven't seen this item anywhere other than on Refindz. Participating in valuations gives you the opportunity to compare your valuation with others and the opportunity to compel a private conversation with the owner directly At Refindz we bring together the knowledge of collectors with their owners in an unbiased, private and objective way: Poster: 1. Post your objects anonymously, upload photos or videos and ask the questions about your goodie. 2. Gather independently, replies, descriptions and valuations of your item, from keen collectors. Remember, collectors are not able to see the replies of their peers. 3. Decide from the responders, who you wish to connect with. Collector: 4. Monitor and watchlist new collectibles that arrive in the app and be the first to connect with the owner using your outstanding knowledge and fair valuation. 5. Filter for collectable categories that you are interested in. 6. Find out the average valuation of your peers by participating in the valuation process. (an average price is provided after you have submitted a description and value for the item.) Our mission at Refindz is to bring refined collectibles back to life, giving them a new lease on life so they can tell their stories again—where they came from, who made them, how rare they are, and why they should be respected. Learning about your hidden treasures might include something your ancestor purchased many years ago. It could also involve discovering that an object you possess, with the right knowledge shared, exceeds your expectations more than you could have imagined.
