The unprecedented increase in the number of cases lead to a major undersupply in traditional psychiatric treatment. Experts speak of a mental health crisis and of the need to find new methods and solutions that could help to relieve the existing mental care system. Smilamind faces this problem and develops an evidence-based and discreet application that is tailored to the needs of young people, strengthens their mental health, rises awareness for, educates about and destigmatizes the mental health topic. Using an innovative AI-driven holistic approach into health and wellbeing we’re measuring physical parameters such as sleep and activity detected from the wearable device and the mobile phone and correlate them with perceived wellbeing showing young people the interplay between physical and mental health.
